2、 When is the transition period? How to register during the transition period?

Answer: The transition period is from April 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. There are three situations during the transition period:

If the applicant has already passed the old version exam and meets the registration requirements of the old version guidelines, priority can be given to registering according to the old version guidelines.

If the applicant does not meet the examination requirements of the old version of the guidelines, they can refer to the transitional period arrangement. If any of the prerequisite conditions for "applicant type" in Tables 1-4 of the transition period arrangement are met, registration can be arranged according to the corresponding transition period.

If the applicant has not passed any of the old version exams, they can only register according to the revised guidelines.

3、 Do I have to register before April 1st this year for the old version exam that I passed in November 2020? Can the exam continue to be used during registration after April 1st this year?

Answer: Your old exam scores can be used during registration until the transition period ends on June 30, 2022. After June 30, 2022, it cannot continue to be used.

4、 I have passed both the "QMS Fundamentals" and "QMS Audit Knowledge" exams. How can I register?

Answer: Before the end of the transition period on June 30, 2022, you can choose to register according to the requirements of the old registration guidelines.

5、 How can I register for the official EMS level if I have already taken the "EMS Basic Knowledge" exam and it is still valid?

Answer: Before the end of the transition period, register for EMS internship level according to the old version of the guidelines; Then accumulate internship review experience and pass the "Management System Certification Fundamentals" exam to register for the EMS official level.

6、 I do not have FSMS internship qualifications and have only passed the "FSMS Audit Knowledge" exam, which is within the validity period. How to register as an EMS formal level auditor during the transition period?

Answer: Firstly, you need to register as an FSMS intern auditor. Method 2 of Table 1 can be arranged according to the transition period: passing the "Fundamentals of Food Safety Management System" exam, passing the "Certification General Fundamentals" exam, or completing the "Qualification Assessment Fundamentals" course training on the CCAA online training platform.

2. Then register as a formal FSMS level auditor. You can register according to the old version guidelines or arrange according to the transition period in Table 2. Method 1: Pass the "Certification General Foundation" exam or complete the "Qualification Assessment Foundation" course training on the CCAA online training platform.

7、 I am currently a QMS auditor and an FSMS intern auditor. How can I register as a formal FSMS level auditor?

Answer: If you have passed the "FSMS Audit Knowledge" exam, you can register as an FSMS auditor according to the old version guidelines before the end of the transition period on June 30, 2022.

If you have not passed the "FSMS Audit Knowledge" exam, you must pass the "Management System Certification Fundamentals" exam at any time in accordance with the revised guidelines and meet other registration requirements before you can register as an FSMS auditor.

8、 I am currently at the formal level of QMS and have not passed any old version exams of EMS. I would like to extend my formal level of EMS. How can I register?

Answer: During the transition period, register as an EMS intern auditor by passing the "Environmental Management System Fundamentals" exam according to the method 3 in the transition schedule 1. Then, according to the revised guideline 2.6.2, the EMS formal level can only be registered after passing the "Management System Certification Fundamentals" exam and meeting other registration requirements.

9、 What do I need to take to register for an OHSMS internship during the transition period if I already have a formal QMS level and have passed the "OHSMS Audit Knowledge Exam" but have not passed the "OHSMS Basic Knowledge Exam"? What do I need to take to register for the formal level of OHSMS?

Answer: When registering for OHSMS internship level, you can choose one of the following two ways to register:

(1) According to the transition period arrangement in Table 1, Method 2, pass the "Occupational Health and Safety Management System Fundamentals" exam, and pass the "Certification General Fundamentals" exam or complete the "Qualification Assessment Fundamentals" course training on the CCAA online training platform.

(2) According to the transition period arrangement in Table 1, Method 3: Pass the "Fundamentals of Occupational Health and Safety Management System" exam.

When they have the qualification for OHSMS internship and register for the formal level of OHSMS, they can register according to the old version of the guidelines, or according to the transition period arranged in Table 2, Method 1, pass the "Certification General Foundation" exam or complete the "Qualification Assessment Foundation" course training on the CCAA online training platform. If the transition period is exceeded, it is necessary to take the "Management System Certification Fundamentals" exam according to the revised guidelines.

10、 I have passed the exams for "QMS Basic Knowledge" and "QMS Audit Knowledge", as well as the exams for "EMS Audit Knowledge" and "OHSMS Basic Knowledge". I would like to register as an auditor for all three systems. May I know which other exams are required?

Answer: During the transition period, registration can be done in the following ways:

1. QMS field

Under the condition of meeting the requirements of the old version guidelines, one can register as a QMS intern auditor and QMS auditor in accordance with the old version guidelines. No additional exams are required.

2. EMS field

You can first register as an EMS intern auditor according to the transition period arrangement, which means passing the "Environmental Management System Fundamentals" exam and passing the "Certification General Fundamentals" exam or completing the "Qualification Assessment Fundamentals" course training on the CCAA online training platform. Register again according to the old version guidelines, or directly register as an EMS auditor through the new version exam, that is, by passing the "Certification General Fundamentals" exam or completing the "Qualification Assessment Fundamentals" course training on the CCAA online training platform.

3. OHSMS field

Under the condition of meeting the requirements of the old version guidelines, one can first register as an OHSMS intern auditor according to the old version guidelines. According to the revised guidelines, register as an OHSMS auditor through the "Management System Certification Fundamentals" exam.

After the transition period ends, the scores from the previous version of the exam cannot continue to be used, and one must participate in the corresponding new version of the exam according to the revised guidelines.

11、 Can I register as a QMS intern auditor according to Method 3 of Table 1 arranged during the transition period, as I already have the formal qualification of a service certification auditor?

Answer: It's not possible. The transition period arrangement in Table 1, Method 3 requires the applicant to have a formal level registration qualification as a management system auditor in a certain field.

12、 If I have already passed the "Certified General Fundamentals" exam, will I no longer need to take this subject when expanding to other registration areas in the future?

Answer: When expanding into other fields, if you have already passed the "Certification General Basic Examination" within the first 5 years of applying for registration, you do not need to take the subject again.

13、 If I have already passed the "Management System Certification Fundamentals" exam, will I no longer need to take this subject when expanding my registration to other management system fields in the future?

Answer: When expanding into other areas of management systems, if you have already passed the "Management System Certification Foundation" within the first 3 years of applying for registration, you do not need to take the subject again. But if you want to obtain the registration qualifications of product certification inspector or service certification inspector in various fields, you also need to take the exams required by the corresponding standards.

14、 After April 1, 2020, will registration and annual confirmation be completed according to the revised guidelines or the old guidelines?
