On March 2nd, the pilot work promotion meeting for the improvement of quality management system certification for small and micro enterprises in the province was held in Xi'an.

Based on the "Pilot Work Plan for Improving the Quality Management System Certification of Small and Micro Enterprises in the Province" formulated at the beginning of the year, a summary of the previous work will be made, and the next steps will be arranged and deployed. The regions, types, and quantities of participating pilot enterprises will be clarified, and five certification institutions including Shaanxi Branch of China Shipbuilding Society Quality Certification Company will be determined to provide technical support and services for this pilot work. At the meeting, local municipal bureaus exchanged views and made statements on the pilot work of improving the quality management system certification of small and micro enterprises.

The meeting requires that we should closely focus on the characteristics of "specialization", "refinement", "uniqueness" and "novelty" of small and micro enterprises, guide them to establish a suitable quality management system and operate it effectively, solve the pain points of shortage of quality management talents, unstable quality level, high management costs and risks in small and micro enterprises, continuously improve their quality awareness, play a role in promoting quality, and lay the foundation for the next step of comprehensively promoting the quality improvement of small and micro enterprises. Local municipal bureaus should strictly follow standards, select pilot objects, and effectively select enterprises that are willing, in need, want to improve, and want to enhance. They should solidly supervise and guide this quality improvement action, prevent going through the motions, and ensure that the pilot work of the province's small and micro enterprise quality management system certification improvement action achieves practical results; Each certification body should carefully evaluate the advantages and key quality issues of pilot enterprises, develop effective certification plans, and promote the continuous improvement of enterprise quality management level.

The meeting requires that all certification agencies and market supervision departments in various cities participating in the pilot should take responsibility, take the initiative, strengthen on-site research on small and micro enterprises, formulate targeted assistance measures, and effectively solve the "pain points" and "difficulties" in the development of small and micro enterprises. Enterprises participating in the pilot program for improving quality management system certification do not pay any fees. The expenses required for training, on-site assistance, audit certification, etc. will be uniformly borne by the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau through government procurement services.

More than 40 people attended the meeting, including the person in charge of the certification supervision department of the provincial bureau, the leaders in charge of various municipal bureaus, the heads of certification departments, and representatives of relevant certification institutions.
