Certification agencies and personnel:

The Announcement No. 29 of 2016 by the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Announcement of Invalidation of a Batch of Documents has invalidated the Notice on Issues Related to Certification and Registration of Certification Training and Consulting Personnel (State Administration for Market Regulation [2004] No. 70). The China Certification and Accreditation Association (CCAA), in conjunction with the opinions of certification bodies on the use of certification personnel, issued the "Notice on Age Restrictions for Registration of Certification Personnel" in 2016.

Based on the current practical needs of certification bodies for the use of certification personnel, and drawing on the practices of international peers and other industries' requirements for the age of professional and technical personnel, I will decide to lift the age limit for certification personnel to apply for registration. At the same time, for those who are unable to re register due to exceeding the age limit after the release of the "Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Invalidation of a Batch of Documents" in September 2016, they can apply to restore their registration qualifications. The specific operation is as follows:

1、 Scope of personnel to restore registration qualifications

Certified personnel who are over 65 years old and whose registration certificate has expired between September 18, 2016 and the date of publication.

2、 Restore registration eligibility conditions

On the basis of comprehensive evaluation of whether certification personnel are suitable for certification work, the certification body shall act as a recommendation agency to apply for the restoration of registration qualifications for relevant personnel;

2. The applicant must meet the annual confirmation requirements of previous years during the validity period of the certificate;

3. After the registration certificate expires, the applicant must meet the requirements for continuing education in previous years before applying to restore the registration qualification.

3、 Resume registration qualification application process

1. Individuals need to fill out the application form for restoring their registration qualifications (Attachment 1), which should include: name, age, file number, recommended institution, registration field to be restored, and original registration qualification certificate

Book number (highest level certificate), original certificate validity period (highest level certificate), contact information (mobile phone number), annual confirmation and continuing education information, etc., and recommended by the recommending institution

After review and confirmation, with the signature of the individual and the official seal of the institution, it will be submitted to the Personnel Evaluation Department of the CCAA Certification Personnel Capability Evaluation Center. After verifying that the application information is correct and providing feedback, the applicant

You can submit a registration qualification restoration application through the CCAA certified personnel registration and management system.

2. Time for accepting applications for restoration: Applications for restoration of registration eligibility will be accepted between now and March 1, 2020.
