General steps for enterprises to implement ISO9000

Release Time:2018-05-21

After carefully reading the ISO9001 standard, you will definitely come up with the concept that the ISO9001 standard is indeed very comprehensive. It regulates all processes within the enterprise from raw material procurement to finished product delivery, involving all employees from the highest management level to the lowest level. You may think that implementing such a comprehensive and complex system must be very difficult!

It cannot be denied that implementing ISO9000 is a certain difficulty, but as long as you sincerely regard the implementation of ISO9000 as an important measure to improve the company's management performance, rather than just showing off, and regard it as a long-term development strategy, steady and meticulous planning according to the specific situation of the company, ISO9000 can eventually take root and bear fruit in your company.

Simply put, there are five essential processes for implementing ISO9000:

Knowledge preparation, legislation, promotion, implementation, supervision, and improvement.

You can plan the above five processes based on the specific situation of your company, and follow certain implementation steps to guide your company gradually into the world of ISO9000.

The following are typical steps for enterprises to implement ISO9000. It can be seen that these steps fully include the five processes mentioned above:

Identification and diagnosis of the original quality system of the enterprise;

Appointing management representatives and establishing an ISO9000 implementation organization;

Set goals and incentive measures;

Personnel at all levels receive necessary training on management and quality awareness;

ISO9001 standard knowledge training;

Compilation of quality system documents (legislation);

Large scale promotion, training, release, and trial operation of quality system documents;

Internal auditors receive training;

Several internal quality system audits; Management review based on internal audit; Improve and enhance the quality management system;

Apply for certification.

Before implementing ISO9000, enterprises should carefully plan the above implementation steps based on their actual situation, and provide specific arrangements for time and activity content to ensure more effective implementation results. After several internal audits and gradual corrections, if the enterprise believes that the established quality management system meets the requirements of the selected standards (specifically when there are fewer non conformities found during the internal audit), it can apply for external certification.
